This rare position exists with a prestigious London insurance brokerage. The firm generates business from a wide variety of sources, however, it has a particularly large connection to a high net worth financial services business, from which it attracts the majority of its wealthy clientele.
As Private Clients Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of high net worth accounts, typically encompassing HNW household cases, but also some Motor and Travel policies. You’ll enjoy strong relationships with high net worth insurers and access to extremely favourable rates. In this office-based role, duties will include, but not be limited to, overseeing renewals, handling mid-term adjustments, dealing with day to client enquiries, and liaising regularly with Underwriters. You will also look for ways to develop existing accounts, by identifying cross and up-selling opportunities.
It is essential that as a minimum, you have knowledge of the high net worth household market, whether this is from a broking or underwriting background. Motor and Travel insurance knowledge would also be beneficial, although this can be taught relatively easily. Just as importantly, you’ll have exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to secure buy-in and trust from high net worth clientele.
