My client, a very productive financial planning firm based in Nottingham, is looking to recruit a Paraplanner to support its Advisor Team.
This company is an Independent Financial Planning business and its trusted expertise, personal service and proactive approach enables it to provide the individual attention its clients deserve. This company deal with complex financial planning needs for its high net worth clients, whether that be families, individuals or businesses.
The main purpose of this role is to provide full technical support to its Financial Advisers. A big part of the role will involve suitability report writing and issuing regular valuation reports to clients. You will undertake research and carry out in-depth product research and analysis both independently and with an IFA to identify suitable solutions to meet client’s requirements. You will prepare cash flow plans, carry out tax calculations and produce defined benefit transfer analysis reports. It is important for you to assist with the preparation of client meetings, email, letters, documentation and attend these meetings to record and action meeting outcomes.
Previous industry experience as a Paraplanner with technical report writing experience is essential for this position. You will preferably hold the Level 4 Diploma, or be working towards this qualification. A sound technical knowledge of the financial services market is key, across a full range of products. You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to use your own initiative. You will have the ability to deliver excellent customer service, being a great team player and be able to cope with a fast-paced environment and varied workload. Experience of Intelligent Office, FE, Selecta Pension, Voyant cashflow modelling and Paraplanning online report writing would be advantageous.
