Due to the ongoing expansion of the business, my client, a long-standing local IFA practice, is seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator to complement its existing team within scenic offices in North Leeds.

This business, established in the local area for a number of years, has developed an enviable reputation in the wider community, providing first class private wealth management solutions for a broad client base of high net worth individuals.

The main responsibility of the role is to provide administrative support to a busy IFA, as well as ad-hoc support to the Managing Director. The role will include the processing and submission of new business and policy tracking, as well as the preparation of annual reviews for Adviser’s client meetings. You will also be required to obtain quotes, assist with product research and financial reports as and when appropriate. You must maintain up to date product knowledge in order to ensure reports are technically accurate. You will also be responsible for day to day administrative tasks such as database management, operating client review systems and the managing of an IFA’s diary.

Ideally, you will have some experience within Financial Services and more specifically, in areas such as investments, life and pensions. Level of experience is not particularly significant, but you absolutely must have experience of using Avelo/ IRESS (1st back office system). The role requires you to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and providers; therefore you must have excellent interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator. Demonstrating a keen eye for detail, you will be highly organised and able to manage a sizeable workload. It is by no means essential that you hold any industry qualifications, though this would obviously strengthen your application.
