This high profile, global broking organisation has a rare and exciting opportunity within its specialist Marine team that operates out of first-class offices in the heart of the City. The firm seeks an individual with expertise and a deep technical knowledge of the Cargo space to include its wordings, carriers and London Market nuances.
As a Client Manager, you’ll work in a most collaborative way alongside a Senior Specialist and a Team Leader, and always in line with the global broking strategy, procedures and protocols. You’ll be accountable for the day to day account servicing of your client portfolio with an additional emphasis on retention, and with an eye on account maximisation opportunities.
Using your demonstrable experience and understanding of the dynamics and processes within the London Insurance Market, your wide and varied role will encompass all client-led activity. As the first port of call for all client enquiries, you’ll be an accomplished relationship manager prepared to go the extra mile when required, and will be responsible for a holistic suite of services to include broking and placement into both lead and follow markets, production of bespoke wordings/ clauses when appropriate, production of market documentation and tender production too. Additionally, as a subject matter expert, you’ll be on hand to answer policy cover queries from your clients and technical Cargo questions from less-experienced colleagues in the team and wider network.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Marine Cargo specialist with a thorough appreciation of the London Market.
