As a result of growth, this highly successful financial services lead generation company is seeking a telephone-based Business Development Manager (BDM) within its office near Huddersfield.
This innovative and successful business supplies a wide range of lucrative FS leads to mortgage and insurance brokers, finance houses and IFAs throughout the country, including but not limited to, mortgage, life insurance, equity release, pension, investment, general insurance and secured loan leads.
Once customers have signed up to purchase leads from the online portal, you will speak to them over the telephone to welcome them on board, explain how everything works, provide guidance where required, and ensure that they are getting the most out of the system. Duties will also include conducting follow-up calls, as well as calling old customers with a view to reigniting their interest.
There is no real cold calling in this role as the majority of your time will be spent speaking to new customers.
It is preferred that you have some knowledge of the financial services / insurance market. Just as importantly, you will have an excellent telephone manner, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers. You’ll also be comfortable with learning new IT packages, as well as possessing strong organisational skills.
For someone who enjoys speaking to people on the phone, without the pressure of sales targets, this is a really appealing job.
