A niche insurance provider is looking to appoint a client-focused Account Handler for its expanding team in Croydon.
Part of a larger UK insurance business, this broker has over half a century of experience in its chosen specialist area. It also provides a wide range of information and resources to its clients to help them in their day-to-day lives.
Your main duties will be to provide a market-leading service to your clients, from first contact through to the renewal of their policies. You’ll be tasked with converting incoming SME new business and retention enquiries, working towards targets to help grow the account. Building a strong relationship with the capacity provider, you will refer any unusual risks that you require advice on, and pass on any claims reported by the clients. Part of your role will be to keep up-to-date with any industry changes in your niche market via the trade press, and you will also attend occasional exhibitions to promote the business.
It is required that you have provided SME Insurance products and services in a previous position. You will be comfortable in building client relationships over the phone, with a background of meeting/ exceeding targets for either sales or activity quotas.
You’ll be monitored against your success in achieving your sales/ retention targets and other business KPI’s that are in place.
