In line with its exciting growth plans, the company seeks a specialist Protection Broker to leverage business from its existing client base. This firm's main BTL mortgage competitors are making a significant amount of money from cross-selling protection business to investor clients and are seeking an ambitious individual who would like to capitalise on this. Moreover, the Directors would like this person to build a Protection Team (which will ultimately comprise circa 5 people), where they will benefit from extremely lucrative personal and team commissions.
It is essential that you have previous experience of selling Protection products such as Life Insurance, Critical Illness or Income Protection etc. Equally, you must have strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals. As this is a telephone-based role dealing with clients all over the UK, you must be charismatic and engaging, with the ability to secure strong buy-in from clients in a non-face to face advisory position.
You will be rewarded with an attractive basic salary plus a generous commission structure, resulting in very high on target earnings.
