This award-winning organisation, with a Head Office located in the easily accessible Humberside Airport Business Park, now has an immediate requirement for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join its highly effective and professional Group Finance team.
Ideally suiting an individual currently working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, this role reports into and will work alongside the Group Finance Director, who has the respect and admiration from all sides of the organisation. With a wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding under his belt, he is ready to coach, develop and mentor the successful candidate into becoming a trusted and valued member of this most important business function.
No two days will be the same in this demanding but fun role, where you’ll quickly become involved in a variety of tasks that include the preparation of statutory reports, VAT preparation, payroll analysis, cash flow forecasting and assisting the FD with a variety of business critical tasks that include monthly group reporting packs that include corporation tax and consolidation reports.
You’ll ideally be studying towards ACA or ACCA and will able to demonstrate commerce-based experience of working with Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax and VAT. Additionally, you’ll be an advanced Excel user and will ideally be familiar with the Exchequer/ Iris accounting systems.
