This market-leading player strives to offer a ‘best in class’ approach and is focused on fully exploiting business opportunities with its broker partners.
Your role will be to develop strong relationships with your panel, which include both large regional and national brokers. You will have a panel of circa 30 brokers to manage, ensuring that their needs and requirements are met. Using your structured sales approach, you will visit your broker panel regularly to establish new business leads for the Underwriting Team, as well as using your influence to secure the risks. You’ll work towards stretching sales targets, and you’ll receive mentoring and training to help you become the best you can be.
The most important things we are looking for are the desire to succeed, an engaging personality, and a proactive approach. With the broker market ever more challenging, you will need to ensure that you can ‘hold your own’ with your panel and say ‘no’ when required. My client will consider candidates from either an Insurer/ MGA or broking background, who have a proven track record within commercial insurance relationships. It’s essential that you have a structured sales process to delivering new business, with a record of success that can be translated into any environment.
