You will be responsible for leading a number of teams across varied commercial insurance products. You will drive new business/ retention through training and coaching, employing your entrepreneurial flair to make effective marketing decisions and control PPC (pay per click) campaigns. This isn’t a ‘hands on’ role, so you won’t be dealing with clients; it’s a pure strategy and leadership position, where you will inspire the teams to perform and create a culture of excellence. You’ll be given a good degree of autonomy to devise and implement your plan, working in conjunction with company Directors.
It is essential that you have a background in small to medium commercial insurance risks from a leadership perspective. Although you don’t necessarily need to be ‘technical’, you’ll need to have a general understanding of insurance products and the market. It is essential that you’ve had a successful track record of fronting high-performing Sales Teams. You’ll be an ‘intrapreneur’ in spirit, continuously looking for ways to drive the business forward.
