A global leader in insurance and risk management solutions is looking to appoint a technically adept Account Broker to consult some of its robust clients within the Financial Lines Team.
This ‘big player’ in the insurance market, at home and abroad, holds a number of high-profile clients. These include blue-chip FTSE 100 entities, locally-domiciled companies with extensive overseas exposures, and some of the world’s best-known companies.
You will be handling an array of Financial Lines clients in a number of specialist sectors, which encompasses, but is not limited to, Construction, Solicitors and Financial Services (including some international FI business). There’s a lot of depth to this position, as not only will you be dealing with a diverse and complex book of business, it is anticipated that you will become an expert for your clients within a chosen specialist area. This will incorporate interesting market knowledge exercises, such as researching how Grenfell affected the Construction market, or developing the ability to produce your clients varying Tax Schedules for 20 different Countries.
It is essential that you have experience in dealing with corporate insurance clients and providing the high level of service that they require. Ideally, you will have had some exposure to Financial Lines, although our client will consider candidates without this specialist experience, who have managed corporate accounts. You will be someone who enjoys the technical aspects of insurance, who is dedicated to become a specialist in your selected field.
