With full, comprehensive training provided, you will enjoy a varied role, which will include providing insurance quotations for customers, handling the renewals of existing policies, as well dealing with general day to day client enquiries. You’ll be dealing with clients and insurers over the telephone and via email, using your well-honed interpersonal skills to maintain strong relationships.
This company deals with ‘open market’ insurers, as well as having delegated authority from other insurers to underwrite business itself. As such, this role will give you exposure to underwriting, as well as broking.
Whilst previous insurance experience would be welcomed, this is by no means essential. Most importantly, you must have a genuine passion for carving a career in the general insurance market, strong customer service and organisational skills, and the ability to produce accurate documentation.
You’ll enjoy working in a newly-refurbished, paperless office, within a team of very approachable insurance professionals. This firm has an extremely low staff turnover and therefore, you will enjoy working in a stable and close-knit office.
