Are you an experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser that’s looking for the ideal self-employed role in the Leeds area? This quality-focused estate agency in the north of the city is looking for an experienced Mortgage Advisor to take on a lot of its provided business and generate an enviable amount of income as a result.
This long-standing estate agency has worked in the Leeds area for the past 20 years, and during this time, has established itself as a major player within this ever-changing market. As a result of internal progression within the company, a vacancy has become available for a self-employed Mortgage Adviser to join this firm’s successful team of Brokers and Sales Negotiators. This firm is currently having to outsource a lot of its leads, so they need someone as soon as possible.
As an experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisor, you’ll sit within one of the firm’s buzzing and lively estate agency branches, working very closely with another Mortgage Adviser and focusing purely on writing business. Cases will be handed over to you as the agents secure properties for new customers, and from there on, you’ll work with the company’s variety of lenders to secure them a loan, finalise the deal, and move onto the next case.
You can expect to be very busy in this role. You will benefit from all leads provided and full admin support, but you’ll be expected to book in your own appointments to provide face to face advice. With that being said, all of the provided leads are the firm’s customers that are waiting to receive your call, so converting the leads to sales couldn’t be simpler. You will enjoy working in conjunction with sales staff who are heavily committed and incentivised to refer business to you and ensure your continued success.
It is absolutely essential that you have experience in providing face to face Mortgage and Protection advice within an estate agency or independent brokerage environment. Experience within a bank or building society won’t be suitable unfortunately.
Whilst you will have flexibility and autonomy with your schedule, we must stress that this is not a 9am - 5pm role. You will need to be available on a Saturday too but you can work from home, and that goes for any weekend work.
You can expect an OTE of £45K - £55K in the first year and £70K - £80K in years 2/3! This firm will also provide financial support for the first few months, whilst you get yourself up and running. As self-employed roles come, none will provide quite as much as this firm will. This firm won’t be looking for long, so if you feel this role is for you, then please send across a CV.
