This highly respected, Essex based, commercial insurance specialist continues to broke and underwrite new business at rapid rates, and as a result, there is now an immediate requirement to add additional claims handling expertise to its busy Head Office team.
You will join a small but knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming team, where you will provide a traditional broker claims service to your varied portfolio of clients. As we all know, the Claims offering is the shop window of insurance, and this is absolutely the mantra here. The provision of an outstanding claims service is essential to the ongoing retention of the existing loyal client bank and new clients alike.
With outstanding client service at the heart of everything you do, you’ll be responsible for taking first notification of all claims, providing initial advice on loss mitigation and claims substantiation from the outset. Subsequently, you will notify the appropriate insurer and instruct the relevant Loss Adjusters and other experts when the need arises. Throughout the lifecycle of each claim, you will maintain an efficient diary system and continually liaise with insurers to ensure that there’s no procrastination in the chain, thus ensuring expedient claims settlement for your clients.
With a wide and varied commercial caseload to include Property, Liability, Professional Indemnity and Accident & Health claims, this is a great opportunity to enhance your claims skills and experience. Interestingly, there is strong potential for this role to develop into a decision-making role with delegated authority being provided from the carriers of the Commercial Combined scheme.
