One of the UK’s premier HNW insurance broking teams seeks an experienced Account Handler to assume control of a six-figure brokerage portfolio.

Here, you will be dealing with a portfolio of high net worth clients. These are from a wide range of backgrounds from ‘old’ wealth and family money through to the nouveau rich, although there is a considerable bias towards people working in the City in professions such as Banking, Finance and Law.
You will be responsible for dealing with mid-term amendments, answering queries and helping prepare renewals in regards to the full suite of Private Client products. Whilst this is by no means a new business role, you will be encouraged to identify gaps in cover and cross / up sell ancillary products and services.
It is essential that you have experience of dealing with private client / high net worth insurance in a broking environment, and ideally knowledge of the full suite of personal lines products along with an understanding of various insurers’ offerings in this sector.
You must also be articulate, polished and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in order to build rapport with your high net worth client base. You must understand that these individuals, whilst being cash rich, are often time poor. As such, you must be able to administer their insurance programmes with the minimum of hassle, leaving them reassured that their home, car and possessions are in safe hands.
Knowledge of the Acturis broking platform, and progress made towards professional qualifications, are by no means essential but would add weight to your application.
