A leading provider of Private Medical Insurance (PMI) is looking to appoint an Adviser to its expanding team in Bradford.
This company works with a wide spectrum of individuals and businesses, including SMEs and corporate clients. Our client is one of the most innovative and strongest health, protection and wellbeing advisers in the UK.
You will establish relationships with the customers of Affinity Partners, obtaining their risk information to provide a quotation for their PMI. You will not need to self-generate leads as all customers are pre-qualified. These will be loyal customers of exclusive organisations, and the majority will have unique requirements due to their medical history. You will use your excellent listening and communication skills to build rapport, identify their needs and present the proposal to the Broking Team to obtain the relevant quotations. You will then select the most appropriate cover from the resulting quotes to protect the client in case of any medical emergency. You’ll probably spend 20% of your time on the phone, with 80% of your time researching the covers for the customer.
It is essential that you have experience of working with a range of customer profiles, as in this role, you will be dealing with the ‘man on the street’ to potentially people in the House of Lords. You will be someone who takes a real interest in people and their stories, demonstrating empathy and listening carefully to what they say. You will be dealing with new clients, and it is important to the company that the customers receive a world-class service from you.
