As a result of ongoing growth, a prestigious commercial finance brokerage seeks a Commercial Finance Broker to join its successful team and effectively promote further growth of its well-established brand.
This business has a strong reputation within the commercial finance sector and an attractive proposition for Commercial Finance Brokers that join its team in Newark-On-Trent. Because this business has an ever-growing network of introducers who are referring leads, there’s no need to self-generate business or bring onboard clients.
You will be responsible for achieving KPI’s and business target objectives, ensuring that your product and industry knowledge is up-to-date and accurate, as well as managing ongoing cases and regularly managing personal sales targets. In addition to this, you must ensure delivery of an outstanding service to this firm’s valued clients and business introducers.
In this role, you will have the chance to work with a fascinating range of loans including commercial mortgages, bridging, development, asset and invoice finance. One of the firm’s newest recruits has described the work as being “very addictive”, so there’s never a dull day in this role! Whilst we were visiting the client, one of the Commercial Finance Brokers was arranging a £9M loan, which will generate a huge commission!
Previous experience as a Commercial Finance Broker would certainly be advantageous, but it is not essential. If you are not currently a Commercial Finance Broker, ideally, you will have experience within a Bank or Building Society, as the firm is looking for someone who’s used to working within strict compliance and time constrained settings. You will also possess excellent rapport-building skills and a professional telephone manner, as well as being proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills.
You will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £30K (negotiable depending on experience), together with a range of company benefits. The hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday, with no weekend work whatsoever! You’ll be working within a very friendly and supportive, close-knit team in a truly collaborative work environment.
