One of the top Private Medical Insurance (PMI) Brokers in the country seeks a talented Business Development Executive for its office near Shipley, West Yorkshire.
This organisation provides bespoke insurance solutions to a diverse range of business and personal customers all over the country and boasts a very impressive client list.
This is a telephone-based role within a specialist division that caters for high net worth customers. Here, you could be dealing with local farmers, through to politicians and aristocrats, and therefore this is a great opportunity to speak to some fascinating customers on a daily basis.
Following up on new enquiries, you’ll be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective customers. The firm generates a vast amount of leads, and therefore you will not have difficulty in finding business. In addition, you will call old leads on the database, as well as lapsed customers, with a view to winning their business again.
You’ll be conducting a simple fact-fact with potential clients, with the aim of introducing them to one of your PMI Adviser colleagues who will provide them with a full insurance quotation.
Because of the type of customers you will be dealing with, you must have a very professional telephone manner and strong rapport building skills. You’ll also be comfortable making outbound calls and have the confidence to promote products and services - an area where you’ll ideally have some previous experience.
This is NOT a hardcore, ‘hard sell’ role, and you will be working for a very supportive company. The average employee’s length of service in this company is 15 years, which is testament to the great working environment it provides.
You’ll be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £25K plus bonus, together with a performance related bonus with on target earnings of circa £35K+. You’ll also enjoy working traditional office hours, 9-5pm. This role provides real scope to progress into a PMI Adviser role, where your earnings and bonus would increase considerably.
