As Mortgage Account Manager, you will enjoy a very varied role where no day is the same and you will continually learn new things. In this vital position supporting Mortgage Advisers, you will benefit from a varied mix of admin and customer service duties, including but certainly not limited to, submitting applications to lenders, checking and validating documents, liaising with both clients and lenders over the telephone, solving problems, and dealing with day to day client enquiries.

Although it would certainly be beneficial, you don’t need specific mortgage experience as full training will be provided. However, you must have a professional and engaging telephone manner, and be well-organised. You’ll have the ability to juggle and constantly prioritise different tasks, and you must have a good level of self-initiative and strong attention to detail. Experience in a complex admin and customer service role would certainly be advantageous.
This isn’t the kind of corporate firm whereby you have to jump through lots of ‘hoops’ to get pay rises or promotions. Whilst there is no pressure to do so, if you are ambitious, you can progress very quickly in the space of 12 months, as have others who have proved themselves.
Given the growth of this firm, there are a wide range of career opportunities available including the chance to move into advising, team leading / managerial, marketing and compliance positions. For those looking to become a Mortgage Adviser, you will be fully supported with this and if you succeed, you could realistically expect to earn £80K - £100K per annum once you’re fully up and running!
