Due to the continued acquisition of quality accounts, the need has arisen for an experienced insurance broker to join the team. Whilst the focus of this position is very much on the servicing of existing accounts in the short-term, we are particularly interested to hear from candidates who aspire to progress within the business, have innovative ideas about how to explore new markets and develop the business operationally, and get involved in a variety of projects.
It is essential that you have experience of both Home and Motor insurance (ideally including high net worth home and sports / electric car insurance). Unfortunately, we cannot entertain applications from those candidates who cannot demonstrate significant experience of these lines. It is also expected that you have dealt with Commercial Motor/ Fleet insurance and, whilst by no means essential, exposure to wider commercial covers such as Property, Liability and Financial Lines would add significant weight to your application. Similarly, progress made towards professional qualifications under the CII is not a prerequisite but would put your application at a distinct advantage.
You should have a passion for client service, and be confident in your ability to build rapport with HNW individuals from all walks of life (from ‘old money’ through to the ‘new wealth’), and this could include some high profile people from the worlds of business, the professions or sports. You must be a real team player, who enjoys working to shared goals and objectives and be excited about the prospect of joining this thriving business on an incredible journey.
