As such, the need has arisen to appoint an Account Executive to inherit a portfolio of clients generating circa £200K in commission & fee income. Clients are from a wide range of industry sectors such as Manufacturing, Retail, Property Owners and Motor Trade. Individual clients could vary in premium size from £1,000 right up to much more complex six figure GWP risks.
You will be responsible for developing a detailed understanding of your clients’ businesses and the risks that they face. You will review their insurance programmes to identify any gaps in cover and, should any be highlighted, suggest appropriate means to mitigate these. Working in conjunction with a dedicated Commercial Broking Team, you will have access to a range of mainstream composite insurers, specialist carriers and MGA’s. You will use your superb negotiation sills to secure your clients the most comprehensive levels of cover at competitive premiums.
Whilst we are ideally looking to speak to experienced Account Executives for this role, we do welcome applications from Commercial Account Handlers who are ready to make that next step in their career.
It is essential that you have a sound understanding of all common commercial covers such as Property, Liability, Financial Lines, Commercial Combined and Package. You must also be personable with excellent communication skills and the ability to get on with people from all walks of life.
Progress made towards professional qualifications under the CII would certainly add value to your application.
