It now seeks a proactive, driven and energetic commercial insurance professional to join them as an Account Executive.
Working alongside a friendly, welcoming team headed up by a highly respected market expert, your new role will be one with a variety of responsibilities. You’ll inherit control of a small client bank comprising mainly SME and small commercial clientele from within a variety of industry sectors. You’ll quickly be able to establish and underpin previous trading relationships and will focus upon the continuing provision of outstanding service levels, ensuring retention. Additionally, you’ll have an eye for account maximisation and will be able to recommend the need for additional products to benefit clients’ ongoing protection.
The final piece of the role will be the generation of new business, but please be reassured this won’t be a case of “here’s Google, the Yellow Pages and a Phone, away you go” - our client is currently benefiting from high volumes of warm leads on a monthly basis, and is also experiencing a strong number of high-quality insurance requests from specialist introducers too. In addition, the manager of this team is always developing opportunities for the business, which he passes on within the unit.
It goes without saying that you’ll also be expected to use your own ideas for business generation and the various social media tools are encouraged to be embraced and utilised.
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate a proven background and understanding from within the commercial insurance arena, ideally in an Account Executive capacity, but if you’re a proactive, dynamic Account Handler then we’d love to hear from you too. Cert CII qualification would be most advantageous.
In return, there is a salary of c£35K available (potentially a little more for an outstanding candidate), an achievable bonus of up to 17.5% paid quarterly, and a suite of employee benefits.
