Despite the pandemic, this award-winning company continues to be extremely profitable and controls circa 35% market share of the local area in which it operates. The branch is registering an average of 100 new properties a month, which presents a terrific opportunity for an ambitious Mortgage Advisor.
As sole Mortgage Broker for the branch, you will offer compliant Mortgage & Protection advice to a wide range of customers in the local area. Working for this directly authorised firm, you will have full access to the whole of market, as well as support from a highly competent Mortgage Administrator. Refreshingly, you’ll be working in conjunction with Property Negotiators, who are highly motivated (and financially incentivised) to create leads for you. You’ll also be working with a management team that is extremely pro Financial Advice. With average house prices between £700K - £800K, this is an opportunity to earn substantial income.
It is essential that you hold the CeMAP qualification and that you have independent mortgage and protection broking experience, as opposed to working in a tied environment. To fit in with the values of this company, you will also be a very strong company ambassador; articulate, friendly, professional and driven. Experience of working within an estate agency environment would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
Our client is certainly flexible when it comes to working between the office and from home, although you would be expected to spend a reasonable amount of time at the office, in order to meet customers and build relationships with the negotiators. You will be working a 5-day week, which includes a Saturday, but will also include a day off in lieu, mid-week.
You will be rewarded with a basic salary of circa £30K, plus a very generous bonus scheme with no threshold to satisfy before earning commission.
