It now seeks a highly capable, multi-talented commercial insurance specialist to bring strength, experience and gravitas to its corporate broking team.
Joining a highly qualified and experienced team of Account Executives, you will be working closely with the Senior Management Team to achieve and deliver the company’s strategic objectives. An account will be allocated to you based upon your sector knowledge/ specialism(s) as a foundation for your portfolio. The ability to grow and maximise these accounts through introducing new products to improve their insurance protection will also be key, as will gaining referrals on the back of your outstanding service.
Alongside servicing, retaining and growing your existing client bank, there will be an expectation that you will bring your own ideas for new business development. You will not be expected to breach any restrictions imposed by your previous employer, and you will benefit from a Telesales Executive who will target prospects with a turnover between £5m - £250m. You’ll also be supported by a team of experienced Senior Account Handlers and who will assist you by identifying growth opportunities with existing clients, as well as working closely with you to secure new business. Refreshingly, this broker is committed to keeping its claims handling in-house too, thus ensuring continuity and consistency of service excellence.
It is essential that you have vast experience in dealing with accounts with premiums levels of £25K+. Insurance professionals within Real Estate and/ or Construction would be preferred, although this specific sector knowledge is not critical. In line with its reputation, and to maintain credibility in the market, our client would prefer that you possess insurance qualifications (Dip CII or above), although high calibre candidates who are making progress with these, will be considered.
