You will be responsible for heading up the Financial Services division, which currently comprises a Wealth Manager and Mortgage Brokers transacting both regulated and non-regulated work.
Whilst the Financial Services division is relatively small at the moment, the company has firm plans to make further acquisitions throughout the North East and North Yorkshire, and therefore, ultimately, you will responsible for the FS team spanning multiple locations.
It is likely that you hold CF30 and that you have your own clients and introducers. Alternatively, you may perhaps be a Sales Director, who has a proven track record of influencing business and growing funds under management. Importantly, whilst any covenants will of course be honoured, you will be expected to generate new business for the company and display a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to business development. Due to the Directors' long-term connections, the business already boasts a large number of high net worth and corporate clients and as result, there will be a wide range of cross-selling opportunities to the existing client base.
Our client is very open about the fact that this business is being ‘grown to sell’, and they are seeking someone who is in this for the long-term who can see the huge potential in this opportunity. In return, lucrative share options will be available, which will of course be gained based on performance.
Location is flexible and some home-working will be possible, although you will be required to spend a reasonable amount of time in the company's head office in Newcastle.
