Aston Charles is delighted to announce that MD, James Heald, married fiancée, Harriet Dear, in an intimate ceremony last month at the historic venue of Ripley Castle, North Yorkshire. Harriet, a primary school teacher, was attended to by her 3 nieces, who all did a superb job as bridesmaids. In a moving speech, the father of the bride, Dr Peter Dear, welcomed James to the family and wished the newlyweds all the best in their new lives together.
Best Man, Charles Howell, entertained the guests with an amusing speech, covering a range of events in the groom’s life, from insights of James’ childhood in Stoke, through to their shared experiences of University at Bretton Hall, and of course, James’ brief career in pop music (nobody mention Jason Donovan)! James’ father, John Heald, also gave an impromptu, yet very amusing speech and shed a little more light on what Harriet can expect from life, living with James…
Speeches were followed by a veritable feast including a highly popular dish of Beef Wellington and seasonal vegetables, and an impressive firework display across the castle grounds – an event which was only bettered by James entertaining the guests with his skills on the piano.
All the guests agreed that this was a beautiful wedding, and a great occasion that allowed friends and family to get to know each other. After the wedding, the happy couple honeymooned in Florence and the Italian Lakes.
James is now back at work, and looking forward to catching up with all of his colleagues, clients and candidates.
